Itinerary of Sightseeing 7 DAYS/6 NIGHTS YANGTZE RIVER CRUISE ITINERARY
Day 1 - Arrive in Chongqing Arrive in Chongqing, the tour guide will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Hotel - Marriott Chongqing- 5 Star Day 2 - Chongqing~Yangtze Cruise Today we are transferred to the docks where our Victoria Cruise ship awaits to take us on our Yangtze River Adventure. Our cruise ship sails for most of the afternoon to arrive at Fengdu, known locally as the ''Ghost City.'' Take an excursion up to Fengdu to observe the over 700 gardens and temples. Reboard later. Day 3 - Yangtze Cruise The Three Gorges, Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge, are one of nature's most extraordinary sculptures, and today our ship vessels to access the Lesser Gorges (either at Daning River or Shennong Stream). Hotel - Victoria Cruise Prince-- 5 Star
Day 4 - YangtzeCruise~Dam In the early morning hours our ship arrives at the Three Gorges Dam Site at Sandouping Village. Take a bus ride to this massive site, the largest project of its kind in the world. Hotel - Victoria Cruise Prince-- 5 Star Day 5 - Yangtze Cruise~Wuhan Arrive at Wuhan marks the halfway point of our Yangtze River Cruise. An excursion to the Hubei Provincial Museum is included in today's sightseeing. Hotel - Victoria Cruise Prince-- 5 Star Day 6 - Yangtze Cruise~Huangshan Disembark at Guichi for a full day shore excursion to Mt. Huangshan, one of China's most famous mountain ranges. Jiuhuashan may be substituted for Huangshan depending on local conditions. Hotel - Victoria Cruise Prince-- 5 Star Day 7 - Yangtze Cruise~Nanjing Today's shore excursion begins when our ship arrives at Nanjing, the old wartime capital of China. Here we tour Sun Yat Sen Memorial, a Qing Dynasty style bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple. Hotel - Victoria Cruise Prince-- 5 Star Day 8 - Yangtze Cruise~Shanghai, Shanghai The ship's morning arrival into the docks at Shanghai signals the end of our Yangtze River adventure. Disembark the ship and transfer into the city by coach. The city tour includes visits to Yu Garden, Nanjing Road and the Bund. Hotel - Kind Hotel - 4 Star 2 DAYS/2 NIGHTS BEIJING SIGHTSEEING ITINERARY Day 1 Tianjin -- Beijing Take the late train from Tianjin to Beijing. Hotel - Jade Palace Hotel -5 Star Day 2 -- Beijing Start Beijing city tour. Beijing served as the capital of 5 dynasties over a period of 800 years with each emperor identified as a dragon sent from the heaven. Start your city tour to visit the Forbidden City. This complex, the largest and most intact conglomeration of ancient structures of the imperial palace ever built in the world, features more than 800 buildings within 9,999 rooms, resplendent golden-glazed roofs, red lacquered pillars and vermilion walls. Next stop is the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world, with monuments and buildings situated around the square’s perimeter. Visit the Temple of Heaven, which was used to offer sacrifices to heaven and pray for good harvest in ancient times. Then tour the Summer Palace, the largest ancient preserved garden in China and a former summer resort for Emperors and the chosen few. Visit the Cloisonné Factory. Enjoy the famous acrobatic show in the evening. Hotel - Jade Palace Hotel - 5 Star Day 3 - Beijing View the National Stadium (Bird's Nest) built for the 2008 Olympics. Then continue to, today’s highlight, a trip to the astonishing Great Wall at Juyongguan Pass. The Great Wall is the most famous image of China throughout the world. It is the only man-made object visible from the moon, and is one of the Eight Wonders of the world. It is also a symbol of Chinese traditional culture and the pride of the Chinese nation. Later visit the Sacred Path of Ming Tombs. 13 of the 16 Ming emperors have their tombs here. This is an attractive destination with a lot of natural scenery. Visit the biggest Jade Exhibition Center in Asia and Tong Ren Tang Chinese Herbal Medicine Center. Enjoy the famous Peking duck dinner in the evening. |
